Very dangerous platform. I strongly recommend not to trade with them. TS has locked me out of my account with 50k inside for more than a month now. It all started because I wrote a complaint on fb, about an order that did not work. The same day I was blocked and was told that it is final given no reason for it. They are the mafia of trading platforms. Since then i have lost thousands of dollars in interest.

I opened an account with Tradestation which was approved. I contacted customer service because I had an issue depositing initial funds. I called their customer service number but I could not talk to a live person because they said they are busy because of Covid-19 and their live customer service is only available for people who are currently trading so send them an email. I then follow up with an email and was told that they can not answer my questions via email because it is against their policy to do via email to avoid potential fraud. Few days later, I went to sign into my account but I could not log in and I know it was the correct passwords so I sent I sent another email to their client services and one of their direct personnel expressing my concerns and finding out why I could not log into my account on Thursday. The next day Friday, I received an email from the Trade Station personnel saying, "Unfortunately TradeStation "The Firm" has made a business decision to not establish a business relationship with you. The Firm does not divulge the reasons why and the decision can't be reversed on appeal." This is so crazy how Trade station treat their customers. This is the worst customer service that I ever received from a Brokerage company ever. I understand they can choose who to do business with but at least give me reason why my account was abruptly closed.

How Can Customer Service be THIS BAD!

How does a company this well known have such horrible customer service? I am really amazed. Since I do not need to talk with someone regularly about my trades or account, I am able to get by without frustration....UNTIL, I actually need to speak with something. They do not answer the phone. Online there is a LOOOONNNg que to get into...takes forever. I can't imagine the executives would stay on the line, wait in the que or even accept the responses they get when someone is reached. Either they dont care or worse, they know service is this bad and....well, they dont care. To me, service this bad are signs a company is in trouble and cutting back. Call TD Ameritrade...Schwab... then call Tradestaion and compare the customer service experience. TD Ameritrade is the BEST. When they answer, they are actually nice and truly act as if they want to help and answer your questions.
If I can find another platform that that charts I like as much as TS, I am outta there! Also, they charge for everything! I spend many dollars each month on commissions (I trade options). I place multiple trades each day. Now, they want to charge me for the data feeds? They truly act like they don't want people to use them. I just don't get it.
At this rate, they will have a voice mail asking us to leave a message and they will get back to us to place "Live Trades." Of course, that would not make sense...but what else about their service does.
Good luck with these guys. If you do not already have an account....Open One with TD Ameritrade instead. They pick up the phone when you call them.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. Charge you to the hilt for everything. Poor poor poor. Was advised to go with these when I signed up to Invest with Terri, the whole thing is a big money scam and needs looking into. I live in the UK and Tradestation is a very bad broker. I am currently trying to get my money out and close the account. As for Corey Andrews, he is very selective when to acknowledge your emails. Would not advise you will lose money fast.

Clunky platform, lousy customer service

There are only two positive comments I can make about Tradestation. They are Zero commision and their execution is faster than Think or Swim. Their platform is terrible, very buggy and inflexible. Almost daily I have to reboot my computer because that is the only way to regain control after some random glitch. They do not have a usable hot key system and their OCO or OSO system is so clunky it is only usable for long term or swing trades forget day trading with it. Their support is so slow that if you need it, you are probably done for the day by the time you reach someone. There is no easy way to review your trades/gains/losses. Today after 45 minutes on hold I decided to take their advice and use the chat on their webpage, I then waited 90 Minutes for someone to help me and they promptly told me that I needed to call.

Don't try to trade pre-market on…

Don't try to trade pre-market on anything. They have the worst servers. You will watch orders get filled in the thousands on the matrix while the bid and ask tick right through you stop or profit orders. Then every morning on the open, like clockwork, I get kicked off the platform. I don't even trade the open, too risky using their platform.

Horrible Experience

Avoid TradeStation.
I have been using TradeStation for the last few months, and I honestly have nothing positive to say about anything.
I am filing an official complaint with the BBB, so I am not going to go too detailed here, but they are holding my funds and not allowing me to withdraw.
They claim certain banks are not real banks.
They allow wire deposits through third party services, but wont allow you to wire transfer using the same service.
This has been a literal hell, of no communication on their part, while I have spent the last two weeks answering all questions on my own, since their is no support from them.
This makes Robinhood seem professional.

I'm staying away.

Thanks to those that wrote reviews, I was going to open an account with them this evening but after reading the reviews . . . . nope. Thanks again to everyone taking the time to write up reviews.

Holding my money hostage!

Tradestation client service and trade deak representatives are by far the most inept I have ever experienced in my time trading. Put a request in for a transfer of crypto out of the platform 2 weeks ago and jumped through every hoop for them and still have no access to my funds. You have been warned. Stay far away from this company.

If you live in the UK don't even bother…

If you live in the UK don't even bother trying to set up a Tradestation account, they are US based and you will have to phone internationally to get through to anyone, they take days to respond and usually with a very short and unhelpful answer. I was ready to start trading and they wouldn't help me get set up, David Clarke was absolutely no help and didn't help me in anyway. I'd save your time and just use Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation.

You will regret using them

Please do not use them . The support is rude, and very slow to respond. Horrible user interface...its a disaster .
This company will go under because of their lack of support and lack of quality

I'd give them a minus if I could. No support. My platform has been down for 24 hrs no one is available to help. Call me scheduling is off they line I called trade desk after 10 min wait they said tech support was fully scheduled call back next week. chat line won't attempt tech questions. Don't even think about setting up account if you need any support.

Account opening is painful

Account opening is painful. Customer Service is disaster and unfriendly. Reaching customer service takes a lot of time and effort. Do you trust them with your money. I would not move my money to a company that is unhelpful, inefficient.

Tradestation is really bad if you are not based in USA

Tradestation for any other customer beside USA is not good to say the least. They dont really care about you and dont have proper customer service tools ( nothing online) To do anything you have to make international calls and even that takes numerous agents to find problems ... Maybe for USA they try more. If you are outside US it is not worth
